Old Town Park City has seen dramatic changes since the 2002 Winter Olymics -- it has gone from a funky area with rundown homes to one of the finer locations to live in Park City.  Many of the homes have been completely refurbished ... some from the ground up ... and, average Old Town property values have more quadrupled as a result.  This history of steady demand for higher quality in the Old Town area, its location to Main St shopping/dining, and it's proximity to the ski slopes should help maintain this as one of the premier locations to live in Park City Utah.

Park City Mountain Resort is home to the US Ski Team and the resort village is next to Old Town.  Making access to the slopes quick and easy.  In fact, the Town Lift runs from Main St to a point midway up the mountain making it easy for vistors staying in Old town Park City to quickly be on the slopes.  Some of of the homes in Old Town Park City are also adjacent to the slopes.

Park City National Historic District:  As part of the National Historic District, Old Town Park City celebrates Park City's roots as a small mining community.  With a renewed focus on maintaining the historic appearance, the buildings and homes in the Old Town area reflect a by-gone era of the old west.  There is also limited land available for new construction, which means that Old Town should retain these characteristics.

Park City Historical Society and Museum is located at 528 Main Street.  The museum includes a recreation of the Silver King Mine where visitors can venture into an underground mine shaft, an exhibit on the history of winter sports, an old stage coach, and the territorial jail.

Kimball Art Center is located at 638 Park Ave.  The site was orginally the Kimball Brother Livery Stables who rented ore wagons and horses to the mines.  The building now hosts a cultural and art center and is a favorite toursist spot.

Egyptian Theater is located at 328 Main St.  Live theater has been a main stay of entertainment since the early mining days.  The Egyptian Thearter began in 1922 and runs performances throughout the year.  Upcomming performances include "Peter Pan", "Cabaret", "Into the Woods (Youtheatre)", and "One Nation, Under Blog".

There are also many exceptional restrauants on Main St including Riverhorse, Washo, Grappa, Purple Sage, and Cafe Terigo just to name a few.

All this makes Old Town Park City a great place to live and invest.
